BEGINNER - INTERMEDIATE PADDLING ACTIVITY
Perfect for both novices and experienced paddleboarders, you’ll receive personalized lessons to help you master the sport of paddle boarding while surrounded by the stunning beauty of the incredible Florida Springs. With a knowledgeable tour guide, you’ll explore the native wildlife and the diverse ecosystem of this unique area.
There’s no better way to explore the Emerald Cut than from the water on a paddleboard! The higher vantage point allows for you to spot more wildlife such as otters, turtles, alligators, and birds along the way. Don't miss out on a truly unforgettable adventure.
The adventure skips the tiring paddle up the Emerald Cut by taking a leisurely golf cart ride through King’s Landing, viewing the other areas of the park, arriving to the private launch at the top of the run. Before embarking on the water, our knowledgeable instructors will show you proper paddling techniques, and customize the tour to your skill level. Learn everything from proper stance & body rotations to board turns & overboard maneuvers.
Your paddle journey will start with a leisurely float through our most scenic areas, as well as our Wild Florida area with much more wildlife! There will be opportunities to swim along the way as your guide stops to show you their favorite spots on the river. Once you reach the turn around point, you will take a short paddle back to King's Landing.
Please note that during our rainy season in August & September it is common for the water level to rise in the Emerald Cut. This causes the clearer blue waters to become a tannic red until you reach the top of the run. This process takes place over time as water produced by rainfall slowly moves through the surrounding area in Wekiwa State Park and into Rock Springs Run. As the water flows over fallen leaves, the tannin slowly leaches out and turns the water brown tea-colored.

EXPERIENCE
This tour is for all skill levels. We do ask that you are a confident swimmer, comfortable in the water, and comfortable with wildlife. Each guest must be fully mobile and in good physical condition to join this tour as you will be responsible for maneuvering your own vessel.

RESERVATION POLICY.

Must be 18 years of age to make a reservation.

Anyone under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.

Minors under the age of 16 years old will not be permitted on this tour
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULE POLICY.

To receive a refund, cancellations must be made 48-hours prior to the reservation time.

Cancellations made within 48-hours of reservation; an eGift Certificate will be issued. All eGift Certificates will be valid for one year.

Cancellations made on the same day of the reservation, no refund or eGift Certificate will be provided.

If a reschedule request is made on the same day of the reservation, a $50 Reschedule Fee will be assessed.

LATE ARRIVALS & NO SHOW POLICY

If you are late or do not show for any reason, we can only hold the tour for 10 minutes after the scheduled launch time. A refund or an eGift Certificate will not be permitted.
BAD WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY.

If a tour is canceled by a King’s Landing staff member due to severe weather conditions or for any safety reason at all, a full refund will be provided. Please note, we are in the natural environment. We do not cancel for light rain, overcast skies or any cool temperatures.
