RIVER CAMPING.

Primitive Tent Campsites

WEKIWA SPRINGS STATE PARK

There are three primitive campsites along Rock Springs Run, Big Buck, Indian Mound and Otter.  Each site has a fire ring and can accommodate up to 10 people each.  These campsites are located at the mid-way point on our famous 8.5 mile shuttle run and these campsites can only be accessed by water.

RESERVATION POLICY AGREEMENT.

Must be 18 years of age to make a reservation.

Anyone under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.

Minors under the age of 2 years old will not be permitted.

CANCELLATION POLICY AGREEMENT.

Cancel at least 48-hours prior to your scheduled reservation to receive a full refund.

To cancel a reservation, you must email King's Landing at info@kingslandingfl.com.

If canceled within the 48-hour period, you may reschedule or opt to receive an eGift Certificate.

All eGift Certificates will be valid up to one year.

DETAILS.
King's Landing offers the launch point to get on the river and paddle downstream to your reserved campsite.  We offer several options for self-launch and canoe rentals for your camping adventure!  Once your camping experience has come to an end, you will take our shuttle back to King's Landing.  Please read all details below!
 
CAPACITY.
Each canoe can hold up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 small child. The weight capacity per canoe is up to 600 lbs.  This is including gear and personal belongings. We recommend staying under 50 to 100 lbs. to increase the stability of the canoe.

ONLINE WAIVER.

A completed waiver is required for each guest. Please complete the waiver online prior to your visit to save time at check-in. Once you have booked your adventure, you will receive a booking confirmation email with the waiver instructions.

ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN.

All guest are required to be together and present at check-in. A valid driver license/ID is required to be held during your stay per canoe rented.  Guest may arrive to check-in between 8am - 1pm.  Please note, the Wekiwa Springs State Park campsite arrival time is on or after 1pm.  On average it takes 3 to 4 hours to paddle downstream to the campsites on the river.

RETURN & CHECK-OUT.

The shuttle departs at 4pm sharp from Wekiva Island, please make sure to arrive no later than 3:30pm at the King's Landing dock at Wekiva Island.  Any guest who return late, a $100 late fee will be assessed at check-out.  Once the shuttle has returned to King's Landing, you will check-out at the office and pick-up your ID's.

PARKING & OTHER.

Free parking is available along the street outside the entrance to King’s Landing. A parking permit will be given to you at check-in. Please make sure this goes into your car before launching. Restrooms and outdoor showers are onsite at King’s Landing. Guest may enter the park to unload any equipment in the designated area before parking.
