Hike + Kayak Jungle Adventure

2.5 HOUR GUIDED TOUR | 2.8 MILES

Experience a mystical adventure exploring Rock Springs Run by land and by water. This tour skips the hard work of paddling up the Emerald Cut and takes you on a walking journey to the top. As you take your first step, you will be quickly swept away in a natural wonderland, a Florida jungle fairytale. You will explore through the tropical hardwood hammock, woodsy vines hanging from above, and a spring-fed river peeking through along the way.  As we step further into the forest, it’s possible to see such creatures as, white-tailed deer, gopher tortoises, wild turkeys, red-shoulder hawks and wolf squirrels to name a few of our favorites.

As you step into your kayak to begin the next chapter of the adventure, your eyes will quickly be drawn to the icy blue glistening water and swaying lush green eel grass below.  The kayak journey begins, floating downstream through the Emerald Cut section of Rock Springs Run. During your float, your guide will show you our favorite spots on the river to stop and swim! Jump from the roots of a giant 100 year old cypress tree or just sit back in your kayak, taking in every second of this natural escape on Rock Springs Run. After enjoying the scenic Emerald Cut, your guide will take you to our Wild side to search for even more wildlife.
