Retreat Campground

The Eagle Boy Scout Retreat Campground is just steps away from King's Landing and has provided a quality camping experience for members of the Boy Scouts of America and campers across the country.  We believe that scouting is adventure, family and leadership, helping one grow to their very best future self.  We invite all Scout Troops at no charge in order to help those individuals achieve the highest level of Eagle Scout.

$30 per night

DETAILS.

All campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit.

Access to many hiking trails in the area and the old fashion swimming hole.

CABINS.

Orlando River Retreats

Escape into nature in one of our rustic but modern cabins that sit along the breathtaking Rock Springs Run.  Explore the river on the provided kayaks, canoes and even a three wheel trike that's sure to peak your interest.  Just steps away is our launch area, where you can gear up for one of our guided adventures, that will take you deep into the wonders of Rock Springs Run, a wild and scenic river.

 

Whether you enjoy outdoor activities or just want to relax on the deck overlooking the river and perfect view of the Wekiwa State Park, you will absolutely love this escape into Florida nature.  Hike the nearby trails, swim at the old fashion swimming hole, enjoy the top rated fishing or get the crew together around the campfire at night, under the stars.

RIVER CAMPING

Primitive Tent Campsites

There are three primitive campsites along Rock Springs Run, Big Buck, Indian Mound and Otter.  Each site has a fire ring and can accommodate up to 10 people each.  These campsites are located at the mid-way point on our famous 8.5 mile Eco River Adventure and can be accessed only by water.  King's Landing offers the launch point to get on the river and paddle downstream to your reserved campsite, along with overnight parking provided and shuttle service to return to King's Landing.  Don't' have your own vessel?  No worries, we also offer canoe and kayak rentals for your journey.

*Please note, the shuttle is temporarily paused.  All guest must paddle back to King's Landing.  Please allow yourself enough time to return before 4:30pm.

 

CAMPSITE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
